Default A theme for an "authority" type website

I am looking for a "clean" flexible theme for an "authority"- like website, mainly monetized with Adsense and/or affiliate offers. Anybody can suggest a theme that you have actually used and were impressed with. If it has an integrated "silo" structure to easily interlink posts it would be even greater.
Thanks,
Evgueni

The Clickbump theme would do exactly what you want. You can choose the template which fits your needs for appearance. Take a look here:

Premium Templates for Review & Authority Sites*|*clickbump.com

I'd suggest you look at XFactor 2.0 or Authority, or better yet....explain to Scott exactly what you are planning to do and get his recommendation.

If it's going to be an 'authority' website then i highly suggest you spend some money and get someone to design it themselves. You can get someone for as little as $100 to modify a theme for you, to make it look professional and approachable - i wouldn't advise using a default, publicly available theme for a site that's aiming to be an authority in its niche.

I hate to toot my own horn, but I'm working on a WP Silo theme now. I'm aiming for 2-3 weeks before it will be finished.

BTW, a silo theme isn't just categories, each individual page needs to be dynamic otherwise it's just a regular old WP theme.

Thanks, I did contact Scott yesterday (he was my first choice) and he pointed me out to the same page. Still waiting a reply from him, regarding which one is more suitable for authority-like site.
I am helping to revamp a website that already has a lot of content. Thanks again.

A well-designed theme should have plenty of easily customizable features that can be easily adapted for an authority-like site. However, this option is for sure to consider.

Would like to take a look when it's available. Maybe for another project, since the theme must be extensively beta-tested.

I don't use it, but the thesis theme seems pretty popular

At the end of the day - decided to go with "The Clickbump" theme. I really like the concept and Scott is a very easy-going guy.
