Default SEO strategy. Outsource it?

Hey guys.

I run a web design firm and looking to get our unranked web design website to the top of google searches.

I'm suffering from information overload. I have read tons of information and my brain is a mess as to what I should do, so I just want to leave this to someone else.

Should I
Option 1: Outsource a SEO specialist on odesk
Option 2: Hire a pay for performance SEO agency?

I am willing to invest about $1000 into SEO.

Thanks!

You don't have to know everything. Just the basic and get several people involved.
Thanks. I'll get the on-site done by a true pro.

You can outsource a backlinker, article writer, etc for pennies.

While this is true, you do require a solid reputable search engine optimization service to acquire long lasting results. The off page is what matters most, if you want to keep the credibility of your clients, hiring a reputable yet result based provider will make your clients happier.

If you are running a reputable service, it is crucial to pay for quality than to pay for pennies in order to be sure their results will stick and last. Good luck with your service regardless! Pm your details if you need reseller's packages, I have those handy

Perhaps you can expect to have better achievements if you get in touch with companies offering web services rather than trying to depend on some results to be gained, hoping that someone else is going to create amazing projects who lives in other countries. Proper SEO needs to be done in a timely manner and naturally, a company can dedicate time to your project in a better way. Besides, they usually are able to build stronger links than freelancers in most cases.

Of course as you may guess the fees too would be going up when you get in touch with a reputable company but many times your improved ranks would be helping you covering the expenses within months. You more than probably would be asked to allocate some payments to your monthly bills rather than spending a lot of cash on a single project and then assuming that everything will be done. Big companies normally work on a monthly basis per projects in competitive niches.

That's really true about having a high investment in SEO.. it will pay big dividends. Something I have to think about.. but for sure I'll have my in page optimization and keyword research done by a pro.

Thanks!
Nick.
