Someone tells me that there have been 2 google updates this year. Surely this is wrong? Hasn't there just been Panda/Farmer followed by several iterations every 4 to 7 weeks? But basically all the same thing which is to punish thin, low-quality content that doesn't engage users. I know that some refer to Panda 1 and Panda 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 etc. with the only major difference between 1 and 2 being US and then rest of the world. Am I right or wrong? |

Does it really matter how many updates there were?

Actually, they are just updated the same algorithm that they have updated few months or years ago. About the specific "new" updates, there were nothing. Panda has occurred before, they are just updating it. QDF also exist long ago, just updated as well. |
