My adsense CTR is crazy low at 0.xx%. My traffic is similar to the past few days and nothing has been changed on my websites. I took a look at some of my sites to see if the ads are relevant, however, i noticed all of the 336X280 (large rectangle) ad unit font size changed to small. I did not make any change to my adsense unit settings and i use default font size/family for each unit. This can be only explained by the fact that G changed their default settings? Did anyone have similar experience today? I did two tests below Test 1: I have changed the font size setting to Large. However, after 60 minutes, I still saw the same "small" font size. Test 2: To further test if G accept my ad unit settings, I changed the default font family to Aria and font size Large, 30 minutes passed, nothing has been changed so far. Any advice? I do not see any updates from G. |

Did you try creating a 100% new Adsense Ad (not just changing the settings on the old Ad)? Try a new Ad see what happens. Check the Adsense Ad on your page in another browser, to see If the font is the same. |

Hi Yukon, Thanks for the reply. I will try that. I just do not understand why suddenly the default settings got changed which have been running ok for the past few months. |

If it's changing the font size on all Ads, I would only change a single Ad block just to see what happens (font size). You never know, it might self correct tomorrow on it's own. |

tested with two newly created 336X280 ads with default settings and manual settings... unfortunately font size is still "small" by default |

Just checked my website and it seems I didn't find any change on ads font on 336X280, all still the same as yesterday. When Google do experiments, as well as you.
