Default Building Blog Network for SEO - Dedicated IP's for Each Domain Question

Hello WF,

I'm planning on building a ton of sites with each a dedicated IP. I want to create a personal network for myself that I can use for SEO purposes in the future. It would be like having your own Build My Rank network of sites.

Right now all of my domains are on one shared hosting account. I called BlueHost and they said the best way for me to get all my sites/domains onto dedicated IP's would be to have a reseller account and dedicated IP for each separate domain. This seems like a really expensive process to create a reseller account and dedicated IP for each domain/site. Besides the cost, it seems like it must get messy organizationally to have so many cPanel's and accounts to manage.

I'm sure you SEO experts have your own hosting/servers around the world, etc. But for someone who doesn't have those resources, how do you do it? Are there any specific hosting companies that make this process easier and cheaper to have each domain on a dedicated IP?

Thanks!

I think blue host will give you D class variation only with a reseller account. You'll want C class variation. It works like this

Imagine this is an ip address

AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD

You want to at least get different C numbers.

Aseohosting will cost you around 4 bucks an IP for this
LeapSwitch will cost 2 bucks an IP
SEOHOST.com (not seo-host.com, they are crap) costs 2 bucks an IP (they provide unique nameservers)
IdeaStack costs 1 dollar an IP
Skynet is 2 dollars an IP as well and they give you unique nameservers.

By unique nameservers I mean they have different domains for each of their IPs. The others you need to register your own domains for nameservers to get different domains for each IP.

That cleared a lot of things up, thank you. Just curious, which one do you prefer and use?

Is it a matter of choosing one? I'm looking into this also and I thought I had to purchase a lot of different hosting with a few domains on each hosting with different ips.

Am I close to the general idea?

I use all of them. I think going with skynet is a good way to start things off, this way you don't have to mess with creating your own nameservers and they are reliable.

That is one way to do it. Personally I don't want to go around and create 20 accounts on various regular hosting plans so I create one on an SEO hosting with 20 ips.

Hi I've found another host that offers this on webhostingtalk the company is called turnkeyinternet.net. I've never used them though. I checked with them and they don't offer unique nameservers. Has anyone here used them? Also I know the different IP addresses are important. But how important is to have different nameservers?

Thanks

When building your private blog network you can't go wrong with skynet, aseo, or seoswitch (leapswitch). All provide excellent customer serivce and more important near 100% uptime.
