SEO experts: looking for advise

Hi All,

I am in the process of revamping an existing website and would like to change/modify categories and rearrange existing post into different categories. I am not changing URL titles, just categories. I don't think it should have an effect on existing off-page SEO. Am I correct?

If you move a post from category-A to category-B you are changing the url of the post, & will need a 301 redirect to tell Google the page/link has changed.

I assume the post are already indexed & ranking in the SERPs.

Thanks for heads up. Can I do a proper re-direct w/o loosing backlins pointing to the current post?

if your URL not changing when changing category, there is no problem dude -

same thing i done already, no change in google rank :0

I think you will be need to change the on-page too as you putting things in categories and if one things goes to b category and first it was present on A category then.

I think overall you need to change the title of website pages.
