Let's suppose a particular keyword gets 6600 broad and 2800 exact match searches.

how many hits one can expect if he is able to rank on the 3rd position.

Please explain in detail.anyone

How long is a piece of string? No one can tell you what you want to know. Even if you gave us the niche and the keyword it's impossible to estimate the clicks it would get.

research shows that 9.82% of surfers click on the 3rd result so it would get between 274.96-648.12 clicks if the research is correct, but it also depends on a lot of other things, like your niche etc.
