NEVER direct-link to a hop-link. AdWords can be difficult to navigate if you don't know what you are doing. To be honest, do not setup another campaign until you have someone who knows what they are doing assist you (or you read and fully understand the TOS). I know that sounds like a plug for my services but, really, it isn't. If you continue to setup campaigns that are rejected, you will very quickly find yourself banned permanently. |

wolfmmiii is absolutely right: adwords terms of service (TOS) forbids direct links like that. You must create a landing page (or an entire web site, if you rock it like wolfie) with unique, relevant, substantial content to satisfy the adwords TOS. Read the adwords help section on 'affiliate links' carefully, and think about your campaign from the point of view of the web site visitor. If you clicked on your ad, what would you expect to see? What would you like to know? How much explaining, background, illustration, demonstration, convincing, emotional appeals, and/or outright sales pitching would you expect/demand/tolerate before clicking the buy button? Caveat: I'm not an expert at this, apparently I've just been lucky a few times. I like to think it's because I actually care about the web visitor's experience and education. And I read the TOS carefully. |
