These days from sometime google has made so many small changes for the results. But as per the major change and for getting the effective result, one need to get the more traffic to the site and that is from the social network more. And also videos will be very effective for your site to get the best results.
And also the other change is that google is going to show the results as per the recent & authorised and old & authorised. As google will show the content in the results that has updated just before a sec , or minute or hour and so on.
And for the all changes you will find so many articles and blogs related to the new algorithm.

so, every time we have to change our link building strategies for search engine ranking. after panda update many website ranking affected and down, what was reason we don't know, even if they used unique content for link building or on web pages.

No body has full knowledge about the topic. Every body is guessing about the algorithm. In my opinion a keyword rich content, use of keywords in meta tags etc and some good traffic can improve your Google rank.
