Hi warriors, I have a client who wants to go for a .org.uk domain name and even though I don't like that extension, I would like to know if this extension effects search engine rankings in anyway? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Craig |

Yes. It actually ranks easier for local UK search. In fact any domain ending in .uk will rank easier than a worldwide extension, all other things being even. |

It ranks easier in UK results but it'll have a negative affect on your worldwide results. Basically if he only wants to rank for UK only results then yes, go for it, otherwise I wouldn't bother. James Scholes |
