Hi All, I'm struggling to find keyphrases for my new site - that promotes... let's say widgets. A likely-looking phrase is "best green widget"... because "green widget" alone gets way too many searches and I probably wouldn't get a look in - including "best" brings it down to about 4000 local searches a month. My concern is- does Google treat all keywords the same? Or would it look a bit disparagingly on the use of "best" (just too blatently self-promoting??). People have helped me on this site who I don't seem to be able to thank yet cos I'm a Newbie (eg Yukon!). Striving Martin |

Personally, if I write down "best" as an extension for any search, I would like to see something like a comparison - which is the best one, why is it the best one, etc.. I would never go with a product which define itselfs as "best" without a good argumentation. But that is just how I would act in my own search, and I don't know the purpose of your website. Basically - if you say "best" and you explaint why = quality content => people will find it useful. |
