Hello all, I recently finished up the creation of my first ebook and the website went live last week. I am ostensibly looking to market it now. One of the methods I want to try is PPC, especially since I have $105 for Adwords from promotions. Granted, that's not too much, but enough to get me started, and hopefully learn from a few mistakes (as well as make some sales). I am promoting my own product, which should make it much easier to be approved and work. It sounds like with promoting affiliate products, you have to do things very well, or you may get suspended and the axe. I don't want to call it "sure fire", but I should have a much easier time with my own product. I think I know the basics of PPC. I know about finding good keywords, write "flashy" ads, and set the right prices. How much of it is willingness to spend money? Is it a paradigm of "go big or go home" or just know what you're doing and don't expect to make $1,000 per day with a $10 budget? Would my home page, which is a sales page that includes "buy now" buttons, be an appropriate landing page? I purchased the WSO "legal pages", so I believe I have that part down (they're on the bottom of the page, but clear as day). I don't know what I don't know, so any help is useful help. I'm here to learn. At the end of the day, I'm just trying to see what works and what doesn't, but this seems to be a fantastic option. Any information on other PPC platforms is also welcome. Thanks, Christian |

I'm in the same boat. I wish some others would chime in with their thoughts!
