Is it easy to out rank wikipedia and youtube links for a specific keyword ? i mean in most my keyword searchs and competition analysis i found there links in google serp 1# ... |

Hello, yes it usually is. Most of the time those types of pages are only up there because the domain, not the page, has huge authority. I have youtube videos that get to page one of google for that keyword without doing any SEO to the page itself. Just analyze the page, with SEO Quake or any other tool. Check the page rank and links to the page itself . Most of the time, it wont be to bad and easy to pass with some decent SEO.

Another thing is if your site has valuable info that wikipedia missed than you add the info with a link to your site. Does not always work, but can occasionaly get you traffic in the niche when done right. The biggest thing is quality content.

Yes. It is possible. In most cases Youtube and Wikipedia are shown because of their Domain Authority, not authority in specific topic. If you build a website focusing around a specific topic, and build valuable backlinks you can outrank them. |
