Default what is Do follow or no follow

Hi Everyone,

Apologies for a newbie type question but I have a doubt regarding do follow or no follow back links. What is the difference and how do I do the search?

if a website has a link of your website, search engines recognize it as a reference, and if the link is dofollow it means the website which has shared your link trusts your website and is refering your website to search engines..
But if a nofollow tag is added, it means the website which has shared the link is telling the earch engine crawlers that it does not recommend your site..

well it depends on whether the blog has enabled dofollow commenting, i.e. it does not add nofollow tag to your comments. then yes you have a dofollow backlink..

but usually websites does not allow dofollow comments and they add a nofollow tag to every comment automatically. so you should try to find as many dofollow blogs as possible to comment

Is there is any specific code to search and to make sure that when I add a comment then the comment is a do follow. I think I have wasted lot of time reading blogs and commenting and ended up having a nofollow comment.

When you found any attribute like rel="nofollow" then believe that is the nofollow link and if not any such attribute then it is the dofollow. And there is one tool known as the nodofollow with the help of which you can know instant about the dofollow or nofollow.
