Not seeing any increase in count of backlinks on Majestic

I use the free version of Majestic SEO. For the last 2 weeks I have not seen and real increase in the number of backlinks. I am using Article ranks (submit one article everyday) and submitting articles to article directories (about 15 a week). Before these 2 weeks I used to get about 20, 30 or even 100 backliinks added per day as per majestic. Is anybody having any similar situation with majestic SEO or with article ranks.
