Rankings Drop after Update of Placement Page

My site took a right dive in Google serps! We have been solid for 18 months or more in number 2 spot for our keywords

We moved premises! New factory and to be honest we never bothered with the Google places placement page since we always ranked above the place listings etc

Like an idiot I decided to update our places page info with new address telephone number etc. We then got hit with the Postcard pin verify crap Maybe it’s a coincidence or we got hit by a Google filter? Our site dropped from page1 number2 too page 2 number 14 spot

We still list number 1 for many long tail keywords and page rank5 still in place

It took over 2 weeks to receive the Google verification pin number and it has now been over a week since we activated the pin etc

Our placement page is not listing unless we click view more locations though the page has been set up with good seo photos and videos

Has anyone else experienced this after updating a places page and awaiting verification?
