Adwords Display Network Advice - Mobile Ads

Hi

For the last few years I was using Admob to run mobile web ads. Now Admob have moved all this advertising over to Google and I'm struggling to work out how to structure my advertising and achieve what I was doing on Admob

From what I can see, I should be using the display network as I want my ads featured on sites that have Adsense mobile code plugged in. However, what's confusing me is the whole concept of keywords in relation to these ads.

Do I need to use keywords and if so how can I achieve the broadest possible reach as I was doing on Admob?

Thanks for your input. It's just that I've had some awful experiences waiting weeks for adwords to get back to me on other issues that I never considered that contacting them would be a viable option
