Default what you guys think about this PPC campaign stat

HI there,

Here is my last several hours campaign stat, what your thoughts about that stats?

Impressions: 69,441

Clicks: 102
CPC: $ 0.05
Conversions (opted-in leads): 7

Would you recommend try to discover better converting ad or just
try to explode that ad and campaign as much as possible?

Thanks
Tadas

your CTR is horrible. but conversion rate high. Would def do some more testing. I would get about 500-800 clicks for optimal data.

Thanks for that as we know PPC is all about clicks and I agree with you
to test with different ad (it is text ads also) So I think I will try different
ad too, and I though the conversion rate is not good but seems that is good.

I also going to use professional tracking tools for visitors.

Maybe so, but we don't know the whole story. If that's search only, that's low but then, we don't know his positioning which could be 25th. If a search campaign, I'd like to know the QS. I suspect that's a content campaign, or at least it's turned on. In which case I'm interested in the relative CTR number.

A 7% conversion rate is not bad at all. A $0.75 cost per conversion, figured out top of my head is not bad either. But he does specify opted-in leads. That seems a bit low to me. How many of these convert to an actual sale?

Scrupio's right in that you need more data. Also, starting a campaign and analyzing stats a few hours later means nothing. Stats are not real time. They are not even all updated at the same time. You may in reality have more impressions or less clicks at this moment in time. Best to look at a day's stats when that day is actually over. Even better is a long-term approach. One day does not tell you much.

Suggestion: always try to improve ads for click and conversion rates.

With a 7% conversion rate and $0.05 CPC, you have absolutely nothing to be concerned about. CTR is important but not as important as CPC and conversion rate, so keep doing what you're doing!

If the landing page consists of an opt-in and a video only as alluded to earlier in the thread, I'd be concerned about the campaign being shut down very soon.

The fact that it is about making money makes it a potential double-whammy.

Tadas, you need to know what each lead is worth to you. Each lead is costing you $0.73c . If you only make $0.50c per lead over their lifetime then you're throwing away money.

Defintely try and optimise the lead acquisition but focus on finding the value of a lead so you can ramp up safely.

Thanks for the constructive thoughts. What you mean by saying "OS" and relative CTR numbers? Which relate numbers you are intersted? I am sure that I need more data - that rate is real an updated for several hours. I can say how many of them will convert to actual sales, because they just opted-in - people can buy later and I hope so they will join because I track them activity in each of my site they also opted in again in further capture pages.

I think it is good campaign at the moment if it will continue to run with that stat, sure I need more time to run that and to see real face of the campaign. It is PPC network ad I pays as advertiser and publishers promote my text ad to my capture page with video

I ussually generate 1 sale per 10 lead. 1 sale is about 25 - 50$ to me.

So I think that conversion for lead is good at the moment, but I need more time for sure to see real face of the campaign. several hours sure dont tell
the truth for the campaign
