Lately I’ve been getting a lot of traffic with Facebook advertising. It started me wondering how many people here use Facebook ads as a way to drive traffic. One of the great things about using Facebook is you can target your ads so they only appear on profiles of people who are interested in your niche. Questions: Who’s using FB advertising to drive traffic? How successful are your campaigns? What’s your daily/monthly budget? Are there any tips you would care to share? Thanks for reading! |

You have sum it up great in the first paragraph... the biggest advantage of Facebook is precise and detailed targeting, which is I love it and it's currently the only PPC advertising platform I'm using... results depends on various elements of the offer, like niche, popularity, quality, etc... at first I go with $20 daily budget for every campaign and it's successful campaign I'm raising my budget... it really depends on the offer and campaigns, but for sure you can get a nice traffic from Facebook, and still pretty cheap...

I use it every day to drive traffic for myself and clients sites. Best campaign was 436 likes for Just Under $5. WORST is 97cents CPC but it was profitable (high commissions) Currently spend about $100-$150 a day for myself and clients. TIPS: 1. Image, Call to action, target , target , target, TEST, Test, Test, 2. CAP the spend to control expenses, Monitor conversions be sure your making bank. 3. Allow your campaigns sufficient time to provide real data. 4. Don't be afraid to walk away from a loss, Its a bit like playing poker in some ways "you have to know when to fold 'em" Great source of Traffic, is pretty cheap compared to ther PPC, gives you nice control with Image and being able to use call to actions. Good luck Mate, Just cap your spend and search out those winners with testing and targeting before you mortgage the house. Oda |

You are totally right. As a Nigerian, I have greatly benefited in using FB ads for my campaigns My campaign are really successful. I use at least $50 daily budget, ....... and it works better that what the so called gurus claim about $5 or $15 daily budget, which actually sucks because I dont it simply doesn't convert and hardly shows up. My simple tip; always test your campaign with at least $30 daily budget. Dont go look for cheap clicks and set your campaign with $5 daily budget. IT WILL NOT WORK. It is like advertising your offers through business cards hanging on a billboard in the busy city of New York and you expect to get hoards of sales. |

id rather spend 10-20 bucks a day for a couple of weeks to find out what gets the CTR up, which lowers CPC. so when i do scale up im paying ALOT less for more clicks. | |

I have never used facebook ads for promotion... But Yes, facebook is good source for driving traffic to the website. I believe facebook advertising has less reach and limited to certain age group. This is why I haven't jumped into facebook advertising yet. |
