I've been searching a lot on the forum for answers about which are the best colors, fonts, fonts sizes, and ad sizes to bring in a higher CTR. That's why I created this thread to help resolve these questions. (Sorry not really a poll but a comparison thread to see what everyone has in common that bring in the clicks). So this is my set up the brings in 5-9% CTR. Not high but still gets me a decent income. Ad Sizes: 336x280 (Left Aligned & Below the post) 160X600 (Right sidebar) Fonts: I use the "Clean" scheme from Google Adsense I use the "Large" font Default font type So what are your setups? |

I've been testing a lot as well these days. What my setup is at the moment... 336 x 280 text ad right below content Title before the content. I'm testing if the 336x280 ad performs better right below the title before the content or Wrapped in the content right below the title. Anyone have any experience with similar testing? |

1200 word posts with a footer for adsense. So bored after 1200 words, no where else to go |

I tried adding ads under my title and they worked pretty well. I then wrapped the ad in the content (left aligned worked the best for me) because I read that some titles can be "misleading" and can cause your account to be banned... Here's the link if you want to check it out: Ads shouldn't be placed under a title or section heading in a way that implies that the ads are not ads. When I wrapped the ad in the content it didn't really change anything CTR wise. Quote:
