Hey Ahmed,

Not much has changed. Google has made its another move to dump all crappy websites down the rankings.

Write quality content and build links, as usual (in a natural manner).

If your website has unique content and quality back links you should be sweet. I would also suggest buying an aged domain name too mate, it always helps.

Basically, yes, backlinks are still needed. I continue to like backlinks from content distribution because they work (and I've always had the theory that they're harder to distinguish from regular blog posts, and thus harder for Google to eliminate in one fail swoop like platform specific-links such as comments and forum profiles). For me, content distribution actually got better results after Panda.

Like many has said, there is not much changes...you just need to write original and unique content and that will be fine...to get high in SEO, you need to build backlinks to your sites regularly..or you can pay someone else to do it for you...

My takeaway from Panda is that "size matters." When you consider sites to SEO, think blogs with new posts at least weekly, so there are lots and lots of pages & content for Google to rank, vs. mini sites with very little content. Panda, in my experience, has basically slapped down mini sites and given the advantage to content-rich blogs and large e-commerce sites.

Hi.
After Panda nothing has changes so much, you just need to concentrate more on your contents that must be unique and original, there should not be any duplicate contents. Your keyword must be relevant to your site, use more keywords to increase the ranking of your site.

Main change of Panda Update is freshness and uniqueness of your content. Write unique content every day or week and build quality links.

It hasn't changed all that much. Just articles might be a bit less effective than they were before, but should still be a part of the range of backlinks made. However, as well as their occasionally announced intentions, like the Panda and Farmer updates, Google (and the other search engines) are in a continuous battle with website owners, the website owners trying to get better search engine results by making backlinks, and the search engines trying to detect such artificially-made backlinks and devalue them! So, what is important (and increasingly so), is how natural your backlinks look to the search engines.

I've just put up a free PDF on exactly this subject, which makes some points I've not seen mentioned elsewhere, so why not have a read of that:- click on the link in my Sig, then click on "free downloads".

In terms of backlinks, it's even more important than ever before to focus on quality instead of quantity. Contextual links from within high-quality content seem to work the best.

On the other hand, profile links and other non-content links decreased in value considerably. They still count, though.

Don't be too overwhelm with this panda update mate. Since you are more likely working to have a good ranking in Google, I suggest you to take a look at their guidelines.

Why I suggested that to you? It's a good practice to follow Google guidelines for you to keep working on the right track. No major changes have occurred. It's just a good thing to keep in touch with the most accurate guides in optimizing a site (for Google ranking).

Panda is not what people think it is. Panda got rid of bad link farms. Especially those sites that were using junk articles to build back links. In particular, it only really effected what Google termed "spam keywords". Dating, penis enlargement, you know, those sorts of things that were flooded with bad articles that made no sense. This is why Ezinearticles no longer accepts articles in some of these niches. If you focus on delivering good solid content, you should be fine. The fiasco with (I believe) JcPennies made this an area of interest for Google, they had bad links, so Google responded. Just focus on delivering solid content that passes Google's grandma test... IE. Would I send my grandma to this piece of content and would she understand it?

Also, forum profile links aren't as effective as they used to be. Too overused by spammers, so the link value is very low for simple profiles these days.

Thanks Trevor, and may I quote your response with a few edits?
