Micro Niche Adsense Project

Uhm,I wanted to try out the micro niche adsense sites,and I need some of your help.

I found a very good keyword which has about 3000+ exact match searched,I bought the EMD and the keyword is really easy to rank for.
I wanted to ask you,how should I approach this website,put 2-3 articles and work on the backlinks,or put 5-10 articles,wait for all the website to get indexed(wait for a month) and only that start working on backlinks?

There's no need to wait for a full month. I usually start as soon as the root is indexed when I know the domain isn't banned.

Uhm,how do you know that your domain is not banned,and how many articles do you put on your site at first,and if you add any other articles as the time goes?

Start building links ASAP because it takes time for links to be picked up but search engines.

Do not wait to start linkbuilding. They take time to get indexed. Long time... Don't be too hung up on getting 10 articles on the site. Put 2-3 articles and start linkbuilding, then set up WP so that an article would be posted once a week. That way Google will see that site is steadily growing. Get 5-7 articles total I'd say. Unless your niche requires more for the site to be completely helpful.

And do not share your niche sites. If the competition is easy and you share it, there are tons of people here who can jump on it. Most of them won't be posting here, they just lurk around..

You can safely get backlinks from a press release submission immediately. Then continue to work on link consistency and variety until you achieve your desired results.

Try to add your articles consistently over a period of time. Google loves sites with fresh content. Sometimes, I wait until I see a site drop in the SERPS and then add some new content to help bump it back up!

Build links right away, but don't add too many too fast unless you plan to keep that pace for a long period of time. Slow and steady to begin with, then as time goes by you can ramp it up.

Yup, add an article once a week. Whichever workday you want.

And you can start adding articles for related keywords at the start. Actually, articles will probably already have some of them. You could rank for related keywords first esp if they are easier competition and lower search volume.

Main keyword: Hammer

Related: blue hammer, red hammer, some brand hammer, how to use a hammer, etc

Go to Google Keyword tool and enter your keyword, you will get a list of 800 keywords and some of them will be related to your niche closely and will give you additional traffic if you rank for them.

I see,but if my keyword is 3 words,I should search for related keywords that contain my main keywords or I can also you similar definitions,like best education programs and most valued education programs(my main keyword for example is top education programs)

Both. Go after lowest competition and then if the site is doing well, ranks fine then expand whichever way you can.

Yeah, sometimes site wont make enough money even when they are ranking well, maybe there is not enough advertisers you know.

There are certain things we should know while working on websites just for adsense. Things like traffic building strategies, better ad placements techniques, finding and targeting keywords with higher CPC etc. I hope you are familiar with all this.

With my experience, the best platform for adsense websites is to use wordpress. Keeping articles in different categories, adding some seo plugins, regular posting targeting keywords with decent conversion etc would make things easy.

Just want to add one thing. If you have only 1 or 2 micro niche sites with Adsense, the amount you can earn is quite limited because you cannot expect lots of traffic to these sites. what I will do is to create a lot of sites (20 or even 30) having around 2 or 3 articles initially, then a round a week later add 1 more article to each site. Wait for another week and then do the backlink.

Also, remember with micro niche sites NUMBER counts.

I see,but lets say my main keyword has 2400 exact match search per month,so if Im ranked 1st for that keyword,I get 50% of the traffic which is 1200 unique visitors every month.Lets say my click rate is 10%,thats 120$ a month if I have a 1$ CPC keyword,am I right?

With micro niches sites you play a game of numbers: if one site earns $15/month, then make 100 of then you got $1500/month. Organize your time, that it would worth creating 100 of micro sites.

I make it a habit of have up to 12 keywords all easy, medium and high competition and have articles written for all of them before I even build my site. One of my keywords will be EMD. I'll build my site using three articles to start off with and schedule the rest every 4-5 days and ensure that they all ping when they post.

You won't be getting $1 clicks often. Don't forget Google takes a pay cut AND advertisers pay $1 to be on top of Google search page, they pay less for being on websites with AdSense. Expect to get a third of the shown CPC, even less most of the time. Esp. if the competition between advertisers is low (not competition between top 10 websites on SERPs but advertiser competition).

Not many websites get to 1 dollar a day. According to some people it's more like 40 percent of them that can achieve it and then some of them exceed it. That's why people tend to build a lot of sites..

I see,so when I reach rank 1 in google for my main keyword,it will be a good idea to expend my keywords,and add some new I guess,am I right?
Adding new keywords will lead to adding a page with the keyword,and new articles with that keyword,am I right?

Depends. I have around 13 active Adsense sites currently, with roughly 4 to 5 of those making the bulk of my Adsense income right now. Others are slowly climbing up the ranks and starting to earn cash (as they are newer sites). Some months are better than others, too. Plus, all niches are different, so averages are going to vary greatly from one person to the next.

Overall, don't worry so much about what your averages will be. As long as you continue to search and build sites around keywords that are searched for often and have solid CPC averages with weak top 10 competition, you will earn some cash. From there, it's all about scaling your method up.

Once you put in the work and actually start moving forward, then you can worry about averages and paying closer attention to what sites are earning more and what sites are losers. Then you can ditch the losers and focus on growing the winners.

One thing I wish was more emphasized when I was starting out was the importance of PATIENCE! It really is key. Keep building sites, content and continual backlinks and try to enjoy the process. Don't obsess over rankings...easier said than done.

Variety of methods - private blog networks, social bookmarks, article distribution, web 2.0 properties, blog comments, etc. Always use a variety of methods to keep things diversified.

I know you're looking for a lot of advice here, but to be completely honest I would build the site and all of the content first, then worry about what services to use later. That should be the last thing on your mind at this point.

Learn the process before getting trigger happy with other stuff. Trust me - it will save you both time AND money

Does anyone have a good course they can recommend for this guy? It is hard to digest all of this in pieces and would be good to have a reliable blueprint. I know I wish I had one when I started because for every one thing I did right there were 10 I didn't simply because I didn't know any better.
