Default How many AdGroups is enough?

After reading all about Ad groups one thing I am not still sure.

I read that Adgroups should be themed like:

Lesson Arizona keyword main level under it all the kws
golf lesson in Arizona
Arizona golf lesson
cheap Arizona golf lesson
amateur golf outdoor lessons Arizona
...etc.
all these keywords in one Ad group.

the reason is every adgroup they said should have it's own landing page and targeting one ad or two ads.

because I am using dynamic landing pages (sending to the same page) do I need to create different Ad groups for each single keyword?or i have to group them all under one group similar to this one "lesson Arizona"?

You could create a landing page for every keyword and ad group. It can get daunting but that will give you the best CTR from google. The more targeted your keyword groups are the better CTR very important to the bottom line. I had a campaign that had 30 tight ad groups, each with their own landing page. I am able to copy my landing pages and simply change the keyword so it was simple. My goal was to do 50 ad groups. but then I got shut down for copyright infringement. oops I'll never do that again. Yes keep your ad groups themed. your base keyword is Golf lesson Arizona. your not selling Arizona, so always have your base and extend beyond there. ie: golf lesson arizona for beginers, begining golf lesson Arizona.
It is important to find your self the negitive keywords also ie: -baseball, you can include all sports. any one looking for tennis lessons will not see your ad and you will not waste precious clicks.

Just sharing the power of knowlegde...which is only powerful when given away.

Hi baronig,

Astor's advice is spot on. If you combine multiple keywords in the same ad group you will bring down the QS for your best keywords and pay more than you need to for clicks on those keywords.

If you are using Dynamically created Landing Pages, I assume you are using DKI to make your landing page relevant for each keyword. All you to do is buy or build a tool that creates your ad groups automatically from your keyword lists and these tasks will be manageable.

I am so confused and paralyzed at this stage because I hear both side of stories.

so what I understand is to have 1:1 one keyword per Adgroup is better?
I am using php ?kw= to generate my pages dynamically.

also it's good to have a theme Ad group and add all related KWs under that one ad group similar on my example Arizona on top?

No need to be paralyzed or confused, just run a short, simply test to verify what you have been told. Don't take anyones word for it. Why guess when you could know?
