Adword campaigns, MUST READ!!

Ok, I was having an issue with one of my new campaigns. I wasn't getting any impressions. So I bumped the CPC all the way to $1 and still nothing! What the heck?!?!

So I went back and looked at one of my other campaigns that has multiple ad groups. One of the ads was doing great with tons of impressions, the others weren't. The main difference between them was the one getting all the impressions had keywords in the ad lines! Not the title, but the 10-15 words, 2 line ad space.

So I went back to my other campaign and included the key words and lowered the CPC and 30 minutes later, I was getting impressions!

So to summarize, even though you select tons of keyword combinations to include in a campaign, you need to make sure you have keywords in the text of the ad (those two short lines) otherwise google won't serve the ads!
