Sounds like the lesson is not to use AdSense (except in google hosted sites like youtube)? Has anyone tried BuyAds.com or BuySellAds.com ?

Did you try to make another account from the same IP. Try to make another one my friend. I am not sure maybe Google will not banned your account again.

Google is important to some degree but I think people put too much emphasis on them. There are so many good affiliate programs out there and some even better then Google. Also, when it comes to placement - Bing and Yahoo have value too and keep their terms primarily steady.

Yeah, Chitika is waste of time, which helps only owners earn money. I like Adsense that is much stronger.

Create a new blog with 100 content posts, usually some traffics will come. Then create a new adsense from a new gmail using new home address.

Go for other options like Chitika, Adsbrite. These are some of good options to earn money.

Yes, they won't consider your appeal. Once they block or suspend any Ad sense account. There is no consideration on reactivating those accounts. So It's better to set up the new and start fresh.

I see now that putting Google ads was an easy option, whereas putting real CHOSEN ads is harder, but maybe more tuned and so maybe more effective.

Skimlinks earns while I am looking for relevant ads, Bidvertiser is context-sensitive and Clixgalore is targeted.

Too early to tell yet whether they are the right ones, a friend said to add Clicksor to the mix, but I'm not sure yet.

Good luck,

People refuse to abide by TOS and violate them (knowingly or unknowingly). This is why bannings occur.
The trouble is that their TOS are so vague. You could read the TOS ten times over and still inadvertently get banned.

You give the impression that people who get banned are careless and irresponsible, and I simple don't believe that to be true a lot of the time.

So far I have not been banned...yet...

Im sorry i couldnt get past the fact that it took 3 years to make just 168 - most good dog food costs more than that a year.. seriously take the advice of many and dont bother with google - there is plenty more to make money from on the net - see the JV section or affiltate section in this forum or others... it will get you much more than that and screw Google off.

I was with Google for about 10 years.
I never bought or swapped links, but they kicked me out with a general 'explanation', no examples, no remedies and no reply to my emails.

They can get shafted by new-comers ASAP as far as I'm concerned.
They are too arrogant, high and mighty.

You can join alternative program for your "banned website". like amazon, and you can use this domain to make money from infolinks and another PPC. Then You can re-apply to Google Adsense using a new and a fresh website and a fresh and a new gmail and dont open again your gmail that was banned. the reason is security of your new adsense account.

Actually, I believe this is the case more often than not. I've seen it a million times in these forums. This is how it usually goes:

OP:
ZOMG! Google banned me for no reason!

OTHERS: How terrible! Those evil people!

KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE: You probably broke TOS

OP: No way! All my content was quality! I bought 3 high quality articles for $1 per 100 words! See for yourself! (OP then provides link to site)

KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE: Your content is awful and looks spun. The domain name (curingbackacnewithexperimentaldrugs.info) is also spammy and against Webmaster Guidelines

OP: No it's not! What do you know about Google anyway? You don't work for them so you can't possibly know what's the problem. I even was using AdWords to drive traffic to it! They don't want my money.

KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE: So you were practicing arbitrage?

OP: No, I was simply buying AdWords traffic and sending it to my informational site. The keywords I was targeting on AdWords had a lower CPC than the ones on my site.

KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE: So, you WERE practicing arbitrage?

OP: No, I don't even know what that is.

KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE: And that's why you were banned.

OP: You aren't Google so you don't know what you are talking about.

Now, of course, this is just one example but it illustrates how people get banned for stuff simply because they do not understand the TOS. Instead of asking questions FIRST, they go long, blissfully unaware that they are breaking all sorts of TOS along the way. When they get tagged by Google, they claim ignorance.

Yeah?

Well, when someone has lost access to the best ad network of all time, the last thing they need to hear are words like you wrote.

Better to say nothing if you have nothing helpful to say.

EG: your young daughter gets run over, someone says: 'It is best not to let kids play on the street'.

Not sympathetic - it is better to shut up and keep your opinions to yourself, if you can't help.

Those that did wrong know it already, but some that got caught in the trap were innocent.

Most people who are run over are not killed - you are exaggerating, not me.

Anyway, the point is that many innocent people have lost their Adsense a/c for no good reason.

No offence meant, I'm just as sick of hearing people who have not lost their a/c giving advice, as you are of listening to wingers.

My point is that most who "claim" they were banned for no reason, were, in fact, banned for good reason. Sure, there are exceptions but the large majority of bannings are legit.

Got a quick question (theoretically of course)

If somebody was banned from AdSense, could they get a new adsense going again if:

- They created a new website with a new name/new domain name
- They setup a new gmail account
- Change local IP address from service provider (is this necessary?)
- Change IP of my hosting server

In that event, would it be possible to start a new adsense account?

Like in the above case YOU MUST use tracking. You know why? Sabotage. People can click on your ads multiple times to get you banned. I know it sucks but it happens. Competition is fierce. If you can point out the IP that is doing it though (through your tracking) and show google the evidence they will reinstate you. In my case I could not prove who the culprit was. The take fraud very serious and expect you to be able to prove it was not you. Guilty until proven innocent.

You may change as your IP and your name, too!(it will be drastically but..., depend of your desire to have another Adsense)

I would do it!

From what I've heard you can get banned from Adsense for just about any reason and you may never know the exact reason why. Maybe someone you showed your site to, a friend or family member decided to "help" you by clicking on the ads a lot. That could get you banned. Don't worry Friend, Adsense isn't the only way to make money online. Best wishes for peace of mind. Carole

Re the last point - Hostgator..

Of the Six or Seven hosting companies that I've spread my hosting risk over, Hostgator is by far the worst experience I've had. I am not sorry to say it either as the One above knows, I've given them plenty of chances to clean up the mess they have made of hosting 10 to 20 sites with them. 2 years of effort at full cost later I've learnt my lesson.

Migrating the sites now..

If you are slow moving they are great at Hosting, sure loads would agree they have had no problems with Hostgator. Well that's great, but for those who move faster than manana think again.

That's why you check stats and there are plugins available to only show your ads to certain visitors.

It's crucial to monitor your account at least on a daily basis. No more set it and forget it.

Most problems can be solved if you stay monitoring things.

Dedicated hosting is the way to go. I have too many horror stories about using cheap hosting in the past.

Which you mean you need to register a new DOMAIN?
If that so can I still use the ad codes in the recently reported site?

Thanks!

Hi guys, I just got banned from adsense about one hour ago. There were 2 accounts, one on my company's name and one on my name. Both are banned and I want to know what are the alternatives. I think the reason was that my site did not have privacy policy page. don't know what to do now. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Just get a new hosting IP and domain and re-aply for a new adsense account. If your on a budget get free domain name - like co.cc and free hosting account.

I have multiple adsense accounts using free hosting that issues different IP's for each domain (like ClassC ) G. hasn't banned any of my adsense accounts and all of my free hosted domains are indexed.

You are right. Chitika is a WASTE of time and energy.
