Hi guys, I'm getting 500 visitors a day, 1000 page impressions - yet I'm only receiving $3 a day via Adsense. I should be up to 10,000 a day by April as my niche is surrounding the summer season. I know I could probably have better ad placement but I don't want to make my site look spammy. In these scenarios is it best to run with affiliates? I'm in the travel sector, so can run holiday affiliates instead with couple be more effective? Thanks |

Hi level, Maybe the keywords selection is not keywords that generate high CPC (Cost Per Click). You need to research your keywords well. Here are what I usually do: 1. Go to google keyword tool to get the best keywords you want to target. 2. Just go and pick keywords with exact monthly searches between 200-500 3. CPC above $1 4. If you find keywords you like, go to Google and type those keywords in. See if there is an exact match domain for that keywords already. 5. Go to backlinkchecker.com and type 10 top websites that ranking for that keyword terms and check their backlinks. 6. If the competition is low to fair, go write an article about that keyword terms and begin to promote the page. 7. Do it all over again. I hope this help, |

Congrats on the traffic volume. 500 a day is decent in anyone's book. That said, traffic is only as good as its source. Where is your traffic coming from? Is it targeted, or is it people passing by (by mistake if you like). The more targeted your traffic, the more likely it will be to take interest in your site and click on your adverts. |

Sounds like you might be dealing with ads that are not targeting your traffic demographic very well. Plus, as TBInternetMarketing mentioned, the source of traffic can be the problem here. Are you getting organic search engine traffic at all? Have you researched your keyword(s) thoroughly to ensure that they have solid numbers behind them? I would also look at your on-page optimization to ensure that it is all properly optimized for your targeted keywords. The better on-page optimization you have, the easier it is to trigger targeted ads. |

500 a day is something to be proud of. have you thought of CPA offers? There's a LOT of travel related CPA offers. Also, there's plenty of guides & eBooks in the travel niche. Maybe that would be a better alternative? |

You can utilize amazon offers in it. Also some well known CPA offers as well. If you want only adsense targeting then rotate the ads per week and analyze the best position. |

Try to change location of google adsense blocks to increase CTR and your profits. Travel is a good niche with high-payed clicks.

Congrats on the traffic. Look into your Ad placements and try to raise your CTR. Also look into what is the CPC for the market you are in. That may have something to do with it as well. -Omar |
