All, I currently own a business and I am trying to get the website to rank higher (currently page three) and I'm sick of paying money to different companies to do work that frankly isn't providing results. I've heard great things about Scrapebox and I'm about to purchase, but I also read that you should only use it to different URLs that point to your main site (this of course being the black hat way). Is there a way to use it "white hat?" I want to point links to my main site (because that's all I have) and I'm really not sure where to start. I've done my searches on this website as well as the "other website" but I haven't come to a good conclusion. Thanks in advance! |

In my opinion, not really worth it. especially not now anyway. Rather then paying people just to try and push your site up the rankings, pay someone to build a few mini sites for you. let the mini sites point to your site, then do your scrapebox blast to those sites. Scrapebox can be very useful for other things like just scraping urls, or looking at a websites internal pages. For blog comment backlinking it is safer to blast mini sites, not your main site. |

Thanks for the reply. What do you recommend I do to stay "white hat"? I am new to SEO and since my business relies on this, I need to get chugging forward.

stay white hat and out of the forums we are getting too crowded.... My free advice to you is to go to blogsearch.google.com and search for blogs in your niche and try to get them to do sponsored posts for you. |

Don't build mass amount of backlinks directly to your web site. Still scrapebox can be used to make tons of links to Articles, Web 2.0 properties etc.

Scrapebox can be used for both black and white hat seo profitably. Since you have more interest on the white hat area i will advice you watch Mike Friedmans video below. You will need paid proxies to efficiently make use of scrapebox tool and the like. Fortunately, i am offering some free proxy this week for my prospects. PM me if you will like to have some of our shared proxies for free. It only last for three to five days and if you have gotten it on the fourth day, you will only enjoy it for a day. It is meant to give people the feel of how great our proxy works. Anyone interested should free to PM me NOW. Regards John Benjamin |

Dude, Scrapebox isn't only a spamming tool! You can do a TON of valuable research with Scrapebox. If you manually did the equivalent manually it would take tens if not thousands of man hours. Scrapebox can be used to harvest valuable backlinks that you can manually work with. It can help you do competitive research and analysis. It can help you do mass WhoIs, and other valuable searches. Honestly, pick up Scrapebox. Its so damn cheap that it shouldn't even be a question of whether or not its worth it. |

Scrapebox is an amazingly powerful tool. For both whitehat and blackhat strategies. One of the best ways of using scrapebox for whitehate purposes is to scrape for high pr manually approved or captcha protected blogs that are in your niche. Links from these types of blogs can be extremely powerful in pushing your site up the SERPS. The reason being is that they are not spammed to death like most autoapprove blogs. Anyone who says it is simply a spamming tool doesnt really understand how the software works. Sure, it can spam if you want it to, but it DOESN'T have to be used for that. Both approaches work equally well if done correctly and in conjunction with a comprehensive link building strategy.

Scrapebox is THE all-in-one tool. Bl@ck h@t, white hat, whatever. It has about a million uses. If you want to go totally white hat you can use it to harvest blogs related to your niche. Then, you can run a PR check on the blog posts, check to see if they're dofollow, open for comments etc. Finally, leave quality comments on blogs that require manual approval from the blog owner. (If you stick to manual approval blogs there's very little chance that they'll ever get spammed by other people.)

Having a problem with posting to .EDU sites using ScrapeBox. My URLs are validated, my proxies are working fine, and am using Slow Poster. I can only post to about 2 in 200 .EDU sites tho. What's the deal with this part of the software? Everything else with it works fine. |

oh boy! stay away from sb if this is for your business website, in actual fact stay away from blasting any site with sb! sb should be used on buffer pages as in a high pr article linking to your money site then heck go ahead and blast that with sb to get more link juice going to the high pr links, but never ever blast a main money site with sb your asking for trouble i say it all the time google wants DIVERSE links! it puzzles me when guys fresh on the seo scene see all the hype about sb and think its gods gift, sure its a powerful little tool and in actual fact it was possible some time back to rank with just sb but NO way is this doable now google has caught on! |

| It might not be the best tool for finding places to get links, but if you find a specific type of place to get links it's definitely the best tool to scrape many more similar sources.

i would go with using scrapebox in conjunction with web 2.0 sites. That seems like a really good way to go.
