Adsense code in sidebar

Hey guys I got a little Adsense problem and hope you can help me out a bit.

I started a new blog about two months ago and now receive around 125 uniques a day. I placed the first Adsense codes on Sunday but I somehow can't get Adsense to appear in my front-page (static) sidebar (it appears on every other page/subpage and inside the front-page). Any ideas?

Are you taking the code from the adsense ad unit builder? Or is it a plugin? Are you using wordpress?

How many ad units are already showing? if you have more than 3 units on the page, adding another unit will not work.

I think it is dude to your settings of the themes...

Might be an issue with the theme. I know I have some themes where there are two (or even three) different sidebar setups you can use. Some may even have more. I would look for support on that specific theme to figure it out (or you could hand code it into the sidebar code before the php calls for the sidebar widget setup).

sidebar is overrated

ONE square right above content before the content starts (content should be wrapped please to the right or left)...and then another block "in the middle" and one at the end. I think overall this should give MUCH better CTR than sidebar ads.

Probably running some kind of WP Adsense skimming plugin?

Adsense in sidebar have low CTR. If the code is not showing in the header than something is wrong with your theme you are using. Contact the developer or specify the theme you are using.
