Default How does adsense work?

I have just set up a code and used the same code for multiple sites.

Can I just ask if the ad's placed on the page by Google are dependent on your content on that page? I thought it would work like this.

Just asking because I have a text/image ad's and sometimes the same ad's appear on all sites and they are all different niches and sometimes the ad's do seem relevant... ish to the page. Just want to check I have set up correctly?

Whilst I am here does anyone know how often Adsense pay out and how they pay?

Thanks!

It pulls the ads based on the content on the page but if there are no relevant ads available it will show default ads which are likely the ones that you have seens.

If you are wanting to make money with adsense you need to highly optimise your pages so that they show relevant ads.

They pay monthly in arrears so everything you earn this month (december) you will receive around the 25th of january

Google will need some time to seek out the best ads for your site.

You can however make it easy for them.

Use images in your posts and give them an "alt" description where you put the keyword your article is about, use H1 tags for your titles etc.

That way Google will have it easier when the bot needs to decide what your article/page/site is really about.

Besides that, google might also give other people different ads than the ones you see. They might put a remarketing ad in it for instance, based on the websites the surfer visited before yours etc.

Thanks - on one of my blogs ad apears on every post and I run these through SEO Processor - can I optimise more than that?

On my other sites the Ad's just appear on home page not the review pages but again this page is still optimised. I guess I will just have to wait and see if I make money from the Ad's.

Google AdSense allows webmasters to dynamically serve content relevant advertisements on web pages. If the visitor clicks one of the AdSense ads served to the website, the website owner is credited for the referral. Google's AdSense program essentially allows approved websites to dynamically serve Google's pay-per-click AdWord results.

Website maintenance related to AdSense is very easy and requires very little effort. Webmasters need only to insert a Google generated java script into the web page or website template. Google's spider parses the AdServing website and serves ads that relate to the website's content. Google uses a combination of keyword matching and context analysis to determine what ads should be served. The java script calls the ad from Google and will ensure that ads are served each time a visitor goes to the web page.

Early on Google implemented a filtering system that allowed webmasters to prevent a specific domain's ads from being served on any websites in their account. Ad blocking meant that webmasters could prevent their competitor's ads from being dynamically served on their websites.

Google provides a wide variety of ad formats to match the most suitable option with a website. Webmasters can select from a handful of preformatted towers, inline rectangles, banners and buttons. The ad boxes can be modified by webmasters to resemble the website's color scheme.

Visit the webmaster guides, the tools, read the rules, I cannot stress this enough, Tens of thousands of publishers get banned by google for simple mistakes, that could have been prevented, they will not tell you what you did wrong, they will not tell you how to fix the problem, you cant call them on the phone, your emails, will come back as if someone never read your email in the first place.

The only thing you can do is to read the website, ignore anything not written by google, it does not matter how fair anyone thinks the process is or not, the only thing that matters is what google thinks.

Google Adsense is no. 1 Afilliate Program all over the internet. Is also a free join programme, all you need is a gmail account. Once you sign up all you do is paste their code on your site. Adsense will automatically figure out what your site is about and post ads that are related to your content. If someone clicks on those ads you get money.
