Default Best Way To Update Site

Hi Everybody,

I am just wondering what people do to keep their site updated. I know it tends to help in your SERPs if you keep the site fresh. I have a blog on my site that I post to daily, and I think that helps, but I'm wondering about the site as a whole. How often (if ever) should you change the format of the site, or add a completely new page? What is best when it comes to keeping a site updated?
Thanks.

Hey!!

Technically if your blog is on your domain you are updating your site often. As for the site design and things like that, it is important to improve the user experience... if you feel the user's experience is already perfect you should really never have to touch you site however that is never the case.

i would suggest you that if you are looking to update your website then update if only if your keywords aren't in top rankings but if they are then i would only suggest for MINOR changes but be very careful because frequent changes disturb the SERPs.

It depends on how many contents you have, If your website or blog is about something you're interested, I don't think updating will be your problem. I updated my movie review blog for 3 years, generally I share short feelings, but after saw good movies, I'll share something more. Regularly update is good, but when you have nothing to share, why push yourself so hard?

My advice - site updating must be regular! Twice a week or twicw a day - ti is your choice, but try to follow the schedule.

Post content regularly. Buying 100 articles and posting them in a span of 2 days and then waiting for 2 months won't bring you as much SEO juice as if you'd post one every day or two.
