Default Info Links

Does anyone know if there are any alternatives to Infolinks that do the same kind of links. I like the linking and the way the links are put into the text on my blog. It's just that the categories don't really fit well and a pop up ad for a shed or a greenhouse doesn't quite fit with the theme of my site.

I know from a search there are a few like Text Link Ads and some others that didn't seem to have great reviews. Also these were more Ads than the kind of context links I want.

Thanks in advance for any useful info.

Hey, this is Tammy from Infolinks - before you seek out an alternative to Infolinks - there are solutions for the two problems you stated above. First of all, you can optimize your site for higher monetization - just email us at support (at) infolinks (dot) com. Also, our links are completely customizable: color, appearance of underline and quantity per page. Find the color that best suits your site!

Happy blogging,

Tammy

Hi PaulWSutherland,

I think infolinks is one of best alternative of adsense (at least to me). However, if you are still looking for other alternatives, you may want to check out the following blog page of mine showing some of the alternatives:

Hi Paul,

This is Jonathan from Kontera. If you're not happy with your current in-content provider, you might want to give us a try. Kontera is able to provide much more relevant ads for your content thanks to our Synapse platform, which rather than using keyword lists like competitors, can read your content for actually meaning. This added understanding allows us deliver relevant information and ads directly related to user intent, leading to higher CTR and better CPC.

Kontera and Infolinks - great feedback

I have been looking for adsense alternative I sure hope someone is going to give us a viable solution soon. Historically no one has yet.

First competitor to really give adsense a threat is going to clean up.

infolinks & kontera are not comparable to GAdsense by the way the ads are displayed, they both display in-text links and not ad blocks as AdSense.

@Paul - I have used both kontera and infolinks, revenue wise I am more satisfied with infolinks so far. There is a option where you can categorize your site. Kontera lacks on this

Both kontera and infolinks can also block certain sites from appearing on your in-text ads or block ads appearing based on keywords.

Kontera gives you report on which keywords and which URLs generate the revenue, infolinks lacks on this.

In addition, there is intentclick, again part of Kontera, seems to be "specialized" about specific niches..but so far hasn't given me any impressive results (nonetheless I am using it on a slow traffic site) and it looks as it targets only US traffic (i am in italy and intentclick ads don't show to me).

Hope this gives you a better view on both (and the newcomer, intentclick, too)
