I purchased a 3 year old PR3 domain. I was thinking of building a site on it even though the domain is not keyword optimized. Then when I build lots of links to it it won't get sandboxed for being new. Then months later 301 redirect it to a brand new domain that is keyword rich and hopefully move up in the rankings. Will this work after Panda? thx |

Yup, people do this all the time. Pre-Panda and post-Panda. The only real way to find out if/how it works is to try it for yourself. Just be sure to come back and keep the thread posted on your results.

Yep. I do this sometimes. But most times I just 301 the site without rebuilding it if it has alot of links. But be careful to not 301s domains that might have been penalized. That penalty might flow through the 301. |
