I'm Confused

Ok I am not sure why this is happening but I am confused, when I find my post in the google search for a specific keyword, only my domain is coming up. Not my url for my post. Somehow its picking up my home page with the excerpts

Maybe because your post is listed with other posts on your homepage? Since new posts appears on your blog first unless you've set the homepage display something else.

I was thinking the same thing but I see alot of people having excerpts on their homepage.. so I dont know

I'm confused why the first link in the backlink article is setup like this, then does a 301 redirect to the actual article?

Thanks for pointing that out Yukon, I guess it was the plugin I recently installed called internal link building. Don't know why it did that. I guess I need to find another internal link building plugin Thanks again for pointing that out.

Back to my original question.. why is it coming up like that on the SE

i would suggest you to use the Excerpt of your postings on your homepage, it would help you to get your landing page in the SERP's for relevant keywords.

I am doing that but this just started on my last 2 posts
