Moving an old adsense site to new wordpress - please help:

Problem is my old adsense site is using old HTML using Dreamweaver and the URL goes like

domain.com/article.html

I was just converting slowly to new Wordpress site making sure the structure remains the same so I don't lose any backlinks and I saw that Wordpress is doing like

domain.com/article without extension

So I am a little lost and I would greatly appreciate your help in this. How do I get that .html in wordpress or maybe I don't need to do that? but how do I keep all the backlinks/PR of the old site?

Install this plugin: *Permalink Editor* It will let you add the .html to your permalink.
