Default Linking and PageRank flow

Hi Everyone,

I have a relatively new site - it's not doing well yet - but hey, it's covering my hosting costs .

I try many SEO recommendations that I read of - no success yet but it's fun trying and keeps me out of trouble (mostly).

The latest thing I've read of is about managing PageRank flow through my site (not that I've got much...). I've learnt a bit about this but confess I haven't really understood everything I've found on this subject. I need brief advice!

My site navigation stucture is:

Level 1: Home Page, Contact Page, Advertise on my site page, etc (ie what might be called "service" pages).

Level 2: 5 "Theme" Pages

Level 3: About 10-15 "Product" Pages for each "Theme Page"

Presently Each of my Level 1s link to each of my Level 2s (whch are all inter-linked).

Each of my Level 3s are interlinked (within a "Theme" only) and each page at that level carries (4) links back up to the other 4 "Theme" pages and to the relevant "Theme" page.

All pages have 1 or more links to the Home Page.

Does that look reasonable? I think it's quite user friendly - but am I committing any serious errors??

Also re. PageRank "leakage" to linked-to sites- at what proportion would this become a worry? I have 1 page with lots of such links on (it's useful stuff and not affiliate stuff): where should links to this page sit so as to cause the least "leakage"?

Any advice would be very gratefully recieved!
