Default Adwords Sitelinks a Rip-Off?

We started using sitelinks recently and I just went to take a look at conversion stats and there are none! Are you frickin kidding me? Google is charging for Adwords sitelinks click-thrus, IN ADDITION, to the normal ad, yet they don't allow you to track conversion stats? Probably because they aren't very good unless each of your ads was in its own campaign. Otherwise depending on the breadth of your keyword subjects, in many cases your sitelinks aren't going to be as relevant to the keyword that triggered them as the ad.

The fact that through the years less and less of the screen real-estate on Google results above the fold is organic and more is paid is an excellent example of corporations doing all they can to squeeze every last dollar out of us. SEO will be dead in a few more years as Google very gradually transfers into a 90%+ paid advertising search platform. Adwords Quality Score is just another algorithm to try to have Adwords supplement and eventually replace organic results. Sitelinks is just another gimmick to allow advertisers to buy more screen real-estate but with poor ROI.
