Friends..I have a domain which was at #86 position on google and I performed some on page optimization to the website yesterday but the google is not indexing what would be the reason. Now the website is at #96, I also pinged the website still I can see the old title etc., There would be anything I'm missing? FYI my robots.txt looks like Quote:

It can take alot longer than 1 day for google to crawl and update the results. The reason for the movement may be something the othersites around and above you have done. The smaller, newer and fewer links your site has the longer it might take to be indexed. try some bookmarks and other linkbuilding or submitting a sitemap to GWT and see if it helps

Thanks Nick...I will have to wait till tomorrow to check the results. BTW..i didn't submit the sitemap to the GWT. I will do it and thanks again.

The easiest way is 1. Open an account in identi.ca 2. Bookmark the URL or post URL in status message. 3. collect public URL 4. Ping in Pingdevice.com Works every time for me. Sometimes even before 24 hours you will see the result. 2nd Method. 1. Post a new thread in this forum with target URL in signature. |
