A Newbie Question about SEO

Hey guys. I have about 100 Videos on my youtube channel. Also, I have a website that is currently Getting ranked in google, but No as good as I wish.

If I add a link to my website in the Description area of each video linking back to my website, would that help my ranking at all?

Yes, adding a link will help, but you still want to focus on other SEO techniques.

Yes, and consider trying to get the videos ranked as well to get some SEO traffic from them.

a link is a link, but as mentioned above work on getting links from a lot of other sources too, google love diverse links coming into your site from all sorts of places

It will certainly help even if it is nofollow it still matters especially links from youtube videos have only a few external links and most of the times are PR3-4. Additionally don't forget the traffic that you might get from 100 videos (a tip: place your link at the beginning of the description to get the most of it!)
