I was banned by google last year. I won't go into details, but it was my own fault, plus a little of them being a real butt about my screw-up. ![]() Anyway, I have my first product and sales page done. It's now listed on CB and ready to make sales. I'm working on SEO, but I really want to get traffic faster, and in more volume, so I can start split testing my sales page. I'm using 7search right now, which I started a few days ago. I've got every relevant keyword in it that I could find, and am bidding for the very top spot on each, but still only getting fewer than 10 clicks a day. The niche is pretty big, but 7search volume is very very low, evidently... 1. Is there another way to buy traffic so I can start working on conversions? 2. Do you have any experience with other ppc companies? If so, would you suggest them for a beginner? Thanks ![]() ![]() |

Yes, since you get banned from Google but i not sure you get banned your domain or adsense or adwords. If you still can go with Google Adwords then i pretty sure it will help you to generate traffic. If you do not like to touch about Google anymore then you may try on Facebook Ads PPC or place banner ads in related sites and work on classified like craigslist to help you get traffic. |

Try Microsoft Adcenter. I used it with great success as an alternative to Adwords. Cheaper, and depending on the keywords, similar traffic to what Adwords can bring you. |

I also use ad center. I have had success with it. You may want to look into ezine / newsletter advertising too if possible.

1. Affiliates 2. JV Partners 3. Partnership with someone not banned on Adwords. 4. Facebook PPC 5. Adcenter Just because you are banned on Adwords does not mean someone in those top 3 items cannot create campaigns for your product if the incentive is high enough. |

Thank you all for your responses. I'm now setup with adcenter. However, I'm a complete newbie with ppc. Are there things I should know about making ads and choosing keywords? Also, I've got around 100 hits sent from affiliates on CB. None have converted. Is this typical? I figured maybe they could just be sending low quality traffic. But at some point, I need to start split testing to increase conversions. At what point should I start split testing? Any affiliates out there want to team up with me on this? I can take advice and I'm easy to work with. Thanks |

I would also try Buysellads network. I've managed to get traffic for 15-20c a click with them on some of my banners. The only thing - so far I haven't gotten any sales But, I believe with proper tweaking and targeting you can get some sales.

I'm always amazed when people worry about traffic once they get banned from google.. There are SO many more ways to get traffic and most of them are WAY better than google PPC.. 1. Article Marketing syndication and distribution - see articleSubmitAuto.com 2. Video marketing + podcast marketing, syndication and distribution - see trafficGeyser.com 3. eBook marketing distribution - see eBookBot 4. Bing PPC - They have merged with YSM (yahoo) These are some of the best ways.. Fergal | |

OK footbag man, good point. I am currently trying out adcenter ppc, and will continue to work on that. Are you saying that article syndication is still effective? Even after panda? I could write articles everyday. Would that be a better way to spend my time, as opposed to trying to pay for tons of traffic right away? I suppose I could do both, but learning ppc from scratch is a slow process, and I only have limited time in the evenings to devote to IM. If I spent most of that time writing articles, would it be worth it? Also, I hate the idea of coming up with, over time, tons of content for other websites. Could I publish them on my website first, then syndicate? Thanks |

Submitting your article to your own site is the way to go for long term gains.. Having multiple pages with lots of good content on them makes google rank you as an authority site in your niche and your landing page and article pages will get great rankings.. That's a long term plan.. If you are thinking about getting traffic short term then article syndications is still good but you may need to drive backlinks to your articles.. Submiting your article to the top 47 directories with ArticleSubmitAuto is also a great way to drive additional article traffic.. Personally, these are my tactics below.. -Article to my site -different articles to directories -video submission -podcast submission -google CONTENT NETWORK ppc -bing PPC -ebook submission think thats it.. Don't ever rely on google, it kicks now and then out of their system. Do what I do. Get at least 100s of twitter accounts with good followers. Then automate the tweets with software. What this will do is you will send your website or the products tweet directly to the people who want your product. I send almost 40k tweets with my software everyday using all my 400+ acounts. I am banned from google because I always use a copy content. But the thing is that I am getting huge traffic and good sales. Not from google but from twitter. |

Fergal Thank you. You've been very helpful. and as for twitter... that's sounds interesting, but I think I'll focus on articles for awhile, and build up authority on my secondary site. I'll use this site to promote my sales page site. I may try something like twitter after a few months of building up my article site. Another thing I'm curious about. I've got some affiliates sending traffic, but with no success. They've sent over 250 visitors. Should I use that as reason to start making changes on my sales page? I just hate to rely on their traffic, as I have no idea of the quality of that traffic. |

You have several paid resource options. Media buys, Facebook ads, MSN and Yahoo PPC, JV list buying etc. Just do a little reading and you will realize that Google is not the be all and end all when it comes to paid traffic. |

Try Facebook Viral Marketing...It will bring you traffic. Not sure about the quality.
