I need to share my experience with you all, ,I started work on my client website, the website page rank was 1 but after 1 and half month it increases to 5, only because of working on stumbleupon,twitter,digg,google plus and facebook, you can also promote your website like this and will get daily traffic from these social networking website,let me show u one example how i do?

Check these 5 links, what i do is daily take fresh links from website, submit them to social networking websites, ask for voting on gmail from active users, and got benefit from this, You can also do this by urself. Thanks

I believe this is just a waste of time and energy. Why not discover some new creative way to promote the website rather than participating in only these social media sites. If you are working on Social media only to promote your site you are loosing 50% of your visitors.

Also you have not mentioned the other work that may be done by you or someone else that helped in improving the PageRank of your website. Since it is not possible to improve your PageRank by only participating in 5 Social media sites. You need a lot of Quality back links to get a 4 PR increase.

I do believe that Social Media impact the SERP of google but is it only Social Media?
Does only Social Media Links improve the PageRank?
Or do you really know what exactly PageRank is?
Does a nofollow link really help to improve the PageRank?

I think using social marketing to improve PR helps a little, but the majority of your efforts should focus on getting good backlinks.

I am now also doing work for this website and just showed you my yesterday work which i forwarded to my client also, like this i have submitted his websites to many social networking websites, but after submitting it ,got many votes on it that what i mean to say. Thanks for the reply,this workout for my 2nd client also for whom i worked just 1 month and his website was having page rank n/a but now its 2, i also dont know, is this true or not that because of Social media promotion , i am getting traffic to my webistes

Yes marksmith21, you are absolutely rite, but when u submit some website link suppose to twitter and suddenly within 4 to 5 hours it get re-tweeted by different users on twitter like 50 to 100, i think it affects a lot in traffic, what u say about this?

According to me you cant improve your page rank via using 5 social bookamrking site, you can improve serp by using those sites but not pr. If you want to improve your pagerank then must need backlink from quality sites.

Thanks for the reply Stuart william, i used not only these 5 social networking websites but also many other, u just check each link, i just don't only submit client link , i promote it also, daily i promote 5 links of my client website and each link have 40 plus votes on it, i think thats important.

Thanks for the info. I think the search engines will be considering the likes and popularity in the social networks as a major criteria to rank page, soon in the future.

I've already started trying it out to promote my blogs. There's a potential to exploit the sharing exponentially if we ask our friends to reshare and retweet.

Thank you for the offer. But I'm not in a position to promote my blogs commercially as of yet. I'm still a noobie.
