Has anyone else noticed an increased number of Adsense clicks being determined as invalid by Google lately? I would probably see a handful of these per month in the past but, over the last week or so, I've started to see a bunch of them on a daily basis. Without exception, the clicks (which show up as $0.00 earnings/click) are for image ads. The issue is affecting pretty much all of my sites, so I'm wondering if this is due to a recent change that Google has made or if this is a sign that there are problems with my ad placement, etc. Has anyone else noticed this too, or should I take this as a warning that there is something wrong with my sites? |

So turn off image Ads, the image Ad CTR is most times very low anyways (at least for my sites). I only run text Ads.

Google takes care of most of my invalid clicks. It's quite impressive - they know before I do ![]() Turning off image ads would be a shame. If you're not getting good ctr on image ads, maybe it's your graphic designed that should be fired, not the ads type. |
