Newbie help request - meta tags and caching!

Hey there guys! Newbie here I having a lot of trouble trying to fix these 2 issues. Any help with these issues will be much appreciated.

1. I just recently put out a website and checked on google's page speed and got a 67 score with a high priority to serve scaled images. I went back into my site and made all of my images smaller and even naming them differently. It's been a couple of days and google is still seeing my old images on the site - hence my speed score is still 67. When will google see my new smaller images so my speed score will be higher?? Is there anything I can do on my end?

2. I indexed my new site on google a couple of days ago. When I tested out my site to see if google has indexed my page, only my url showed up but not the meta title and meta description, which I do have in my code. Any reason why this is happening? And does that mean my site is not indexed? Any suggestions?

Hi,

Google does not display realtime results. It can take days-weeks to update the listing. Keep adding new content to get the spiders back to your site frequently and it will all be updated in time.

Thanks. I'm still trying to figure out why my meta description isn't in google search? Does this happen to anyone else?
