I have a number of self hosted flash videos on my site and have just become aware of the 'adsense for video' from their latest newsletter. I'm already a youtube partner and get a handful of clicks from there everyday but I want the videos on my site to remain self hosted and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with adsense for video. At the moment I've got a large banner above the player with a link unit underneath but I'm now wondering if enabling ads on the actual videos would be better, and if I was to do so should I remove the surrounding adsense ads on the page? Also how difficult is it to do? I managed to upload and code the flash videos myself so I'm semi capable at least but if it's allot of messing around I'm not sure. I know there's no one answer and it's about testing but anyone's experiences would be greatly appreciated before I go changing the source code... |
