Two Question About Backlinks

Hi warriors,

I have a blog named Cool! Blogging. But it has low google PR. One of my friend told me that backlinks are the key of increasing sites PR. I heard about backlinks before. but i am not sure that is backlink really need for Highr PR? Please anybody tell me about the truth.

Another matter is that I dont know how to count backlinks of any site. Please help me.

lets say you get a PR of 8, what then?

Yes backlinks are very important if you want to get good position on search results as well as page rank, it is a kind of vote that you get from other sites and always keep in mind that these backlinks should be from good page rank sites.

If you want to get an extremely high PR extremely quick buy some high PR home page backlinks. Worked for me!

If you want high PR, you have to focus on quality of backlinks. Google updates its PR quarterly (as told by the representatives, but not actually) When Google thinks your website deserves a PR, it will get updated.

You can count your backlinks using webmaster tools or open site explorer.
