Hey Warriors, I've been doing a lot of reading on the subject of building a link wheel using web 2.0 properties. One that interested me was making a link wheel with web 2.0 and then building backlinks to those web 2.0 site. There is a lot of information out there but I cant seem to find certain specifics. Is there any good locations to read details on creating a link wheel? Basicially I'm not sure exactly how many web 2.0 site to point to a page, and how many web 2.0 sites to point to eachother. Once the link wheel of web 2.0 sites is created would you build backlinks to each web 2.0 page? How many web 2.0 pages do you typically have created for a single page's link wheel? Thanks for any help guys. |

I would not bother with link wheels. Just use 6-12 web 2.0's (with links to your money site) as your tier 1, and promote them.

Your link wheel can consist of as many web 2.0 sites as you wish. The idea behind is, each web 2.0 should link to one other web 2.0 AND to your money site, as well. Then the other web 2.0 you linked to links to another web 2.0 and your money site, again. You can create tier 2 backlinks to the pages of the wheel, but especially recently link wheels don't work as well as they used to. Google got better at indentifying them and if it does spot a link wheel, it then treats it as a single site. A much better strategy is to build link pyramids. |
