Default Is it a blog?

One of my competitors has got links from this link. I think its a blog. He's got almost all of his links from the similar types of blogs. They are all PR0 but still he ranks higher. How can I write blogs like these?

These blogs probably belong to a link network. Which one I donīt know. It looks like they are all spun articles.

You need to purchase services where you can those kind of links. You can brows Warrior Reciprocal Links - Buy - Sell - Swap! section.

Also, you can check out the Warrior for Hire section. I can help you with 100-200 blog posts from PR blogs if you want. PM me if you are interested.

Yep it's a blog. The PR has nothing to do with rankings btw.

Whenever you read web 2.0 site in context of seo, it basically means "a site where you can create an account and post your crap".
Squidoo is such a site for example. Just go there, create an account, write an article (or hire someone else to write an article for you), post it and put your link into that article.

I'm sorry it just got out of my sight.
But how many articles or lenses can you write on squidoo for one site. I have one lense for my site already. Will adding more be counted as different sources of backlinks? Also, what are other sites like squidoo?

It belongs to a Private Blog Network (PBN) for sure. When you join a PBN, you can submit your articles with backlinks to your website embedded. This kind of link building is one of the most effective in my experience, besides having backlinks from on-page high PR pages.

You just be careful for writing the blogs on the topic which people like to read most and like to get the information more. But the information have to be of your field and then only with your experience you can provide the better and useful content to them with your experience. Or one more thing you can do is that you can write on the topic from the daily news and updates also. So this way for getting the new information everytime people will attract to you.

They are not web 2.0's they are original websites. Created to post articles and put links in those articles who paid for the service. It is a paid service.

WEB 2.0's just require an email address to register and put your article.

No problem at all. Like spoiledkid already said, these are not web 2.0 sites.
But if you are still in need of some web 2.0 sites, here are a few:

wordpress.com
tumblr.com
hubpages.com
blogger.com
edublogs.org
weebly.com
livejournal.com
blogsome.com
blogtext.org
thoughts.com
sosblog.com
tabulas.com
tblog.com
friendster.com

Yep you're right. I'm sorry, my fault. I should have paid more attention.

Why not just start a blog of your own on a different host and link it like they do?

Sure that's an option too. You could also do both. But the new blog needs backlinks too, so why not make a use of those free web 2.0 properties to create some free backlinks?

I submitted an article on hubpages but unfortunately the link I included in that article appear to be nofollow. Kindly tell me some article sites or blog networks that allow dofollow links.
