Can anyone explain to me how Rss can be used for SEO purposes ?

What is the concept behind it ?

It can be used to index backlinks. Some backlinks like forum profiles require some extra work to get them indexed.

I am using senuke for rss submission...but now rss not have lot of value in seo industry..!!!

Submitting RSS feeds to directories will increase backlinks. Displaying RSS feeds with optimized titles can help with SEO.

how can i do that exactly ? just take the url of a post or page and submit ? any recomended websites to do that ?

No, you have to create RSS feeds for the pages... Then you wither submit the whole RSS or just the URL of the RSS feed.

When a visitor visit any blog or website and found it useful then he wants to get updates every time when content updates on that website.So RSS Feed is a medium which helps to get automatic updates whenever content update on subscribed website or blog.So generally it helps to increase traffic on blog or website.But many Rss Feed directories provides do follow backlinks too so we can say Rss feed directories are great way to increase traffic as well as get quality backlinks.
