Private Blog Neworks

Anyone know of any good Private Blog Networks that are open right now? I know they open and close rather quickly. Looking to join a few good ones to get some high PR backlinks.

Does these really work? does it really helps you in improving ranking. I have never believed in such programs.

I just started using ArticleRanks and my site is getting hit hard with what I would consider "spammy" articles from the wrong categories. Some articles are totally unreadable. It makes me wonder how good the network is, if poor quality articles are getting posted on sites across the network.
I guess most are just buying credits ?

I also plan to try ALN and I wanted to try Traffic KaBoom- but I think BMR might be a better investment.

I'm not sure what do you mean, however - there is no such thing as spammy articles or links from wrong categories.

A link is a link, and they carry the same weight even it is from the right category, if we are talking about ranking, the only thing important is - ranking, track your keyword ranking instead of others, you'll see what I mean.

i use around 6 at the moment which are:

my article network
seolinkvine
freetraffisystem
article ranks
blogging underground
seodestiny

i've been seeing some great results with all these contextual high pr links being drip fed to my site on a consistent basis!

1. Build My Rank - I absolutely LOVE these guys. They really care about the quality of the links and only approve good content that is not published elsewhere.

2. Linkvana - A rival of Build My Rank, but seem to not keep up with BMR

3. My Article Network

4. Article Ranks - Although a little expensive compared to what you get, I still use them for diversification purposes.

5. Authority Link Network - they are free as long as you provide your own high PR domains for the system. You can buy high PR domains at Flippa or elsewhere for relatively cheap and just submit them to this network.

There is also a free network, Free Traffic Network, that is good for beginners, who are short on budget!
