Blog behind a Commercial site

Hey warriors,

I need some advice here..

I just create a commercial site (it's wordpress) and I installed another wordpress behind it as blog, whenever I update the blog with new content, will it increase the ranking of my site? (as well as index page?)

The ranking I mentioned here is about the index pages for the whole site (as google like fresh content).. Should I go for keep on updating my blogs ?

Hey mikest,

even it was a different wordpress? cause the blog I installed was a root of the front wordpress commercial site ..

eg: abc.com is the main site
but my blog would be abc.com/blog which blog is another wordpress installed behind abc.com..

Was worrying about that it do not works
