Hello I want to some info regarding adsense. For example if my site can be found on google: "how to get my ex back" "how to save relationship" etc etc. Then what will be my adsense keyword? if someone searches for "how to save relationship" and enters to my page, then the ads will be shown for this certain keyword? Or how does it work? Is it the same thing, when ppl come to my site from google image search? I hope you understand what I meant. |

Google will look through your site to find words that it feels would be good matching for the adsense. It probably won't match the same exact keyword that a customer found your site from. Google will also sometimes display public service ads initially until it figures out what keywords to display on your site. I've also seen many times where they will show me ads that are completely unrelated to a site just based on a previous click of a google adsense ad.

Google have a robot that comes with the code that automatically dictates your keyword. In the case where they don't have enough ads for your keyword, they may decide to publish unrelated ads.

Please use Google AdSense sandbox to check what ads you will get for which keywords: Visit this link to see the keyword tool: http://www.labnol.org/google-adsense-sandbox/ The connection between the keywords and the ads is made by the advertisers themselves (they choose keywords to advertise for), then Google puts their ads on websites that fit that criteria. What logic they use to do that? Who knows, but we can be sure that it is the best logic we have. Just don't worry about it. |
